The Complaint:
Valerie worked for that company for 3 years. Not a single day she was a work later than 5PM. After getting fired for negligence and misconduct she proceeded to sue employer for... "unpaid overtime" using the fact that she had discarded a box of timecards into garbage during an office move and it was "her word against the employer". A crafty lawyer found three other former fired employees of the same company andturned it into a legal blackmail against the employer forcing him to settle and pay for some "overtime" none of these ladies had ever worked.
