The Complaint:
Poor Bill Paine can not be blamed for this ?date from Hell.? He was not the sort of person who would pay someone to steal his date?s coat. Bill simply had some bad luck. Bill took a girl wearing a camel?s hair coat to a church dance. Someone else attending that same dance also wore a camel?s hair coat. When they left the dance they put on the coat that belonged to Bill?s date. That date had to go home wearing a coat that was much too big for her. That brought to a sad end a less than exciting evening.
