The Complaint:
My current landlord decided to use Apartment People to find new renters for our apartment because we are moving out soon. The terror began on a quiet Saturday morning. I had gone downstairs to grab a bowl of cereal. Just as I plopped back down on my bed with my cereal, I hear voices. Then,(POUND POUND POUND!)"HELLO, ANYONE HOME?" I go downstairs in my nightgown and see some perky woman and a little girl with her mother standing in the middle of my kitchen. Yes, it was some AP representative who had not bothered to let us know they were going to bring someone over to show our apartment at 9 in the morning. ?Nobody called to warn us,? I say. She fakes sympathy, but she doesn't care. So that whole Saturday and every succeeding one, AP reps brought potential renters over, traipsed in and out, always unannounced. They would leave lights on and would fail to lock the doors when they left. So landlords, if you want to annoy the hell out of your tenants in their last month, call AP today!
